AFCommerce Affiliate Tracking System Tutorial

Once you have purchased and uploaded the files for the tracking system click on the 'Tracking System' icon on the administration home page. By default the tracking system home page will show the visitor information for the current day but you can use the Select Date Range feature to view information over any time period.

1. Unique Visitors - How many unique visitors have visited your website
2. Unique Visitors By Afilliates - How many unique visitors were sent to your website by all of your Afilliates

Click the Detailed Statistics link to view additional information about the visitors to your website. By default it will show the visitor information for the current day but you can use the Select Date Range feature to view information over any time period.

1. Ip Address
2. Browser Type
3. Total Page Views
4. First Visited On - The first date that a particular visitor arrived on your website
5. Last Visited On - The last date that a particular visitor was on your website
6. Number of days visited - This shows you how many times a particular visitor has visited your website
7. Referred By - Shows you what affiliate referred a visitor to your website
8. Cookies Accepted - Shows you if a visitor was accepting or blocking cookies

1. Creating an Affiliate
Click the Affiliates link at the top of the page then click the Add New Affiliate button at the bottom of the page. You should now enter all the information for this affiliate. A unique tracking URL for the affiliate you created will be displayed at the bottom of the page. This is the URL you give to the affiliate so that they will receive credit for the visitors that they send to your website.

2. Affiliate Statistics
Click the Affiliates link at the top of the page then click on the Affiliate Name that you would like to view statistics for. By default the stats for the affiliate that you selected will be displayed for the current day but you can use the Select Date Range feature to view information over any time period

1. Unique Visitors - How many unique visitors an affiliate has sent to your website
2. Sales - How many products have been purchased by visitors sent by this affiliate
3. Total Dollars Collected - The dollar amount of products that have been purchased
4. Members Area Signups - How many visitors that were referred by this affiliate that created an account on your website
