This Google promotion applies to any and all accounts created during 2007 and offers each merchant using Google Checkout no transaction fees for any order made through your website. This is a significant savings and more than pays for this AFCommerce payment module. Google is also granting each Google Checkout merchant, who also uses Google AdWords, to display the Google Shopping Cart Logo on your AdWords advertising results.

    AFCommerce was one of the first shopping carts to go through Google's Level 2 certification process, which means that the Google Support team has personally tested our system to insure that we have all of there policy requirements in place. All AFCommerce upgraded payment gateways have been certified by the payment provider, in this case, Google. AFCommerce provides some payment gateways for free inside both the free and paid versions of our shopping cart software, however any advanced payment solution which requires an advanced installation, and / or has more advanced features, is considered an add on (upgraded) module.

    Google Checkout is an alternate payment checkout process, which means that a Google logo will be placed on your "View Cart" page, and your customers will have the option to complete their order using Google Checkout, instead of your normal checkout process to make a payment. When your customers select Google Checkout, they are *not* required to log in to make a purchase, making Google Checkout an ideally fast and secure way to complete orders on your website.

    This AFCommerce payment module is able to handle ALL messages sent to and from your website and Google's secure web servers. Also, orders completed using this upgraded payment gateway have additional information stored (which is a Google requirement), so you can see Google's Risk Assessment, and all order status notifications.
